Photoshop Cs4

hi,
i have a problem with my photoshop Cs4 installer.
everytime i go to install, a window comes up and says "checking system profile" it gets to about 90% then Freezes.
Is this common

No. I installed Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom 2.2 from the administrator account with no problems. Try that.

I've left it for 2 hours and it doesnt,
tonight should i leave it on and tell you what happens in the morning?

I would consider uninstalling Photoshop versions using Windows Install Cleanup.

i don't know if you have this fixed or not, but just in case, i had this exact same problem.

i ctrl+alt+delete and ended the setup process when it got stuck at 90%.
restarted the computer.
went to add/remove programs and its listed there.
from here i just clicked on it and said 'change' and it continued the installation.

easy fix. good luck
