Cannot delete program???

I installed software for Canon Scanner that has caused me problems. I found out that Canon now has updated software to deal with Vista problems. However I have to delete the old software, but cannot.

I get the following message: The System administrator hs set policies to prevent this installation. What gives? I am the administrator, and the ONLY person using this PC? Any suggestions?

Stop the Canon Scanner services first then try deleting

1. goto start-control pannel-system and maintenance-administrative tools-
2. right click on services
3. run as administrator
4. on the list of services, identify the one associated with the scanner you have
5. open it then click stop.

Why wont you try it with CCleaner? That might help, it works for me. So I hope it will work for you too
