Looking for some suggestion on a TV card that works with Vista X64 HP, and will work in Media Center.

I have a Vista View in one of my systems and it works great, but they are about $100, looking for something a little less expensive.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Try the one that comes pre-installed with the HP m9340f...I have one and it has analog, digital and HDMI outputs...works well...good luck

Nevermind I found it. That card is a Hauppauge Card. Hauppauge TV Cards have problems using more than 3gb of memory. I use a set of 2X2gb G.Skills in my rig so anything Hauppauge will be hit and miss.

Thats good to know, I visited the Hauppauge forums and many people are complaining about it. Could be a later card where the issue has been fixed. What did you use for drivers???

You could look at the ATI cards. I have an ATI TV Wonder Pro 650 HD. Works with Vista Media Center very well and picks up HD channels too. I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 with 4gig of RAM.

Thanks for the info guys, gives me something to look at.

Just to make sure...this is a PC we're talking about, right? Though ATI makes USB TV tuner cards as well.

Hauppauge HR 1800 works great with Intel Q6700, Vista X64 and 4Gb of Memory with Media Center and even WinTV. OTA Stations at 1080 HD and 5.1 Dolby Digital Sound fantastic.:)
