Please excuse my newbness ahead of time with this one. I finally upgraded to vista, which includes media center. I hooked up my xbox to my network so I can view my pictures and music on my home theater. The pictures work just fine, in that I'm able to view all my photos directly from the folders that I have created. However the music is a different story. It seems that I can only access my music by using the built in music library through media center which is extremely annoying. I have 60+ gigs of music and the music library makes it near impossible to search for music over the xbox because the library auto organizes songs based on albums, artists, year, or genere, all of which are generally incorrect. How can I simply view and access my music files directly from the folders that I have created for them?, or is Media Center simply another great idea from microsoft that came so close......
