Vista - Symantec Endpoint Protection v11.0.4000

Hi everyone!

I bought a new comp. a while ago, with Vista Home Premium 64bit. My problems is, that, when I tryed to install "Symantec Endpoint Protection v11.0.4000", it says, there´s a pending installation, which needs a reboot...but the problem is..I don´t even have a pending installation which needs a reboot.

Ofcourse, I tryed with rebooting, several times in a row, but with no success.

I beg you, please please, have a solution on this

Any Norton/Symantec apps listed in Add/Remove Programs ? ?
If so remove them and re-boot.
You may also want to run the Norton Removal Tool from their site.

Thanks for the advices, I will try them out right away, and come back with success or failure

also...on this computer, I have only got McAfee installed, from the start, since I bought it just some weeks ago. And When I tryed installed Endpoint, that problem came up with rebooting. So, I have never got any Symantec programs installed on this comp.

that advice..didn´t work..I think. Because..there are no removal tools for Symantec Endpoint protection..
