Where should I install PerfectDisk 10 and APC Powerchute v2.2

I have Vista 64. Both PF10 and APC Powerchute v2.2 were installed into (x86) program files.

PF10 has been uninstalled and the cleanup utility was run to remove 'possible leftovers'.

But I need to know for sure, where the installation folder should be.

APC Powerchute v2.2 is meant for Vista 64.

Sorry about asking 'dumb' questions; but it is the only wayb to learn.
I have e-mailed Raxco about PF10.

Re: Where should I install PerfectDisk 10 and APC Powerchute v2.2

Hello harin35,

Welcome to the forums.

64 bit programs will install into the 'Programs Files' folder and 32 bit programs will install into the 'Program Files (x86)' folder.
These programs are installing into the x86 folder because they are 32 bit programs.

Hope this helps.

Gary

PS. The only dumb question is the unasked question.

Harin35

Raxco Software's PerfectDisk 10 Professional for Vista Ultimate x64 systems will create a folder/files in both Program Files (x86) and Program Files.

Please refer to images below.

Kind regards

Neil
