Skype keeps losing my Webcam

I have Vista 32. I am using Skype 3.8. My webcam is a Labtec Pro. I regulary keep losing the picture connection! I have to keep going back to set it in Video Options, which doesn't always work!

Rebooting sometimes works. Sometimes I get the light on the camera but no picture.

Any ideas please!

Hi Alan....;)

have you got the latest S/W for your camera..?? if so, uninstall & reinstall the camera app, if it still fails try it in Compatibility mode for XP...

if it still fails.....you might want to try the camera is someone else's machine to check its not faulty...

if this is a recent problem & it was running ok in the past, you might try a ''system restore''
