how do i enable a program that i have downloaded to run on my pc

Hello Plaintalk, and welcome to Vista Forums.

Could you elaborate more on what you mean? I do not understand if you mean to install or ???

If you mean to install, the try right clicking on the file and click on Run as administrator.

If not, then you might try Compatibility Mode with it.

no the program is already installed, it just doesnt run, i had this problem before and went through search programs and manually enable the program and it ran fine after that, but i cant remember what i put in the search field

i downloaded the new version of java with the office suits but i cant find this program when i go to the control panal java is there, also i cant play any online games on pogo, it tells me i needjava plug in which i downloaded which of course is not running

Did you install the JRE version from here? If not, then it may work better for you.
