I have been searching for some time - looking for a simple jewel case insert ( for both CD's & DVD's) Most are so complicated - I had a great one on Windows XP - but unfortunately it is not compatible with Windows Visa 64 bit
Hoping I hear from someone & thanks in advance

Hello Lucsno,

You could simply measure how big it needs to be and make one on Word. If that doesnt appeal to you, then you could keep looking on the internet. If you have a LightScribe Drive, I believe that comes with something to do that. I also believe Nero has the same ability.

If you want text CD cover/insert, not a ton of ink with graphics, you may want to try CDBurnerXP. I just installed it on Vista64 and printed an insert. Also I've been using it now and then on XP and Vista 32 bit. For burning audio CDs it's pretty good. Has automatic .flac file support. Just drag & drop files on the Audio CD template. But you can just print the cover, then delete the stuff. On the back cover it puts track listing with times.

I found a website that'll do it for you: coverCreator

The free program that I use is also called "CoverCreator". It can be found at: Slijkhuis.org

The only thing I don't like about it is when printing the back cover is that the checkbox, "Inverse the side spine colours" must be checked to have black letters on a white background.

Once again, make one with a table on Word.

You could also physically make one, and load it as an image and just print it out.

To Effwitt
Can you put pictures in the front cover of this program??
My last one I could.

Thanks again
Lucsno

The program doesn't provide for graphics on the front cover. It met my needs, free and simple. I don't need anything other than simple titles and room for a few details.

I never tried the website listed in my post. Maybe it can fill your needs.

I've used it in Vista 32 bit. It's pretty much just a printing app. Don't see why it wouldn't work in 64 bit, but I don't have it installed on V64. This PC is only a few weeks old so not a lot of stuff on yet.
