An update is available for download, which will introduce nothing short of a massive performance boost for Outlook 2007. Mark Garcia - Unified Communications product specialist revealed that the February Cumulative Update for Outlook 2007 would bring to the table “a massive world of performance difference” after installation. Users will especially be able to feel the new levels of speed for Outlook 2007 when it comes down to common tasks such as launching the email client, searching for items and switching between folders, which Garcia describes as wicked fast.

Airbot -- I cannot search out Outlook SP2 on any Microsoft website. I hesitate to download anything that I cannot obtain directly from Mcirosoft.

Any idea why I cannot search out this upgrade?

Office Outlook SP2 is still a "hotfix". It's not yet available as a regular Windows Update download.
