Pain In The Butt

I use vista 64bit and have had it for almost a year and a half. I have vmware workstation 6.5 and have windows 7 in it now. I had it a month ago and had been working with it with no problems at all. Then my brain fried and I deleted the virtual w7 file and had to reinstall. The problem is now I can't seem to get and internet connection. What can I do in vmware to get one? Or do I need to do something in vista? Thanks.

Now I have seemed to mess up things for my network. I don't know if the settings in vmware have done that or not? Anyone have any ideas about it? I am new to vmware and would like to know if anyone has any settings ideas in vmware or if it is my network settings???

II am really struggling on getting vmware to connect to the internet. I had it going when I first got it and had no problems for over a month. I then had to do some things and bam, it does not connect to the internet. I think I may have made some changes in it that I can't seem to correct. Does anyone on here know anything about vmware? What about the virtual network editor which is what I think is the problem, I think. HELP!!!!
