Does anyone know how to migrate Outlook?

I have just finished "upgrading" to Vista Home Premium. It was a bit of a pain but I think that it will have been worth the trouble. I own Outlook 2003 which I purchased via the net and for which I do not have any physical media. I did register the product however. Now I can not load my Outlook 2003 and therefore have lost my contacts and old messages. My stupid mistake was saving all of my software keys as archived email messages which of course I now can not retrieve. Any suggestions? At the very least I would love to retrieve my messages and contacts.

Outlook should have something called a *.pst file that should have your username.pst
there is another name as well that I cant remember right now.
You can import your *.pst file into your new outlook no problem,

My question is, can you install 2003 at all ? or your trying to run your old instance of 2003, that your new vista migrated ?

Note: before you reinstall 2003 try to find that pst file on your machine, just do a search and if you do find it copy it and put it someplace safe.

if you have another machine, you can attempt to open the file there just to make sure it is the right pst file before you reinstall outlook 2003.

Oh if you call Microsoft they might just let you reinstall the software, But I dont know what their policy on those type of installs is.
