VISTA and Norton problem

I have been having trouble with my VISTA program. When I pull up Word 2007, I get an error message stating my "Auto Correct file, FICE12\1033\MSO1033.ad could not be saved." I also get several error messages when I want to save a worksheet or file. I have been trying to figure out what happened so I did a computer restore, which just so happened to be before I downloaded Norton antivirus. Everything cleared up for a few days until I re-downloaded Norton. Now all of my troubles have returned. Now I know what is causing the trouble. I tried to go to Norton's one-click Help menu and I can't pull it up at all. I can't pull up iTunes or watch television shows either. I just paid for this service and if it won't work I want to contact them to cancel my service. Can anybody help me?

Hello FallenSue.

Do a restore to the point before the new Norton install, then download the Norton Removal Tool and use it to clean it all off.

Then call Norton to get your money back, and try something else, such as Kaspersky or AVG (free or paid). They should give you the money back if you tell them it turned out to be incompatible.
