Install OS in VMware 6.5 on physical disk

Hi, all!

My computer: laptop HP Pavilion dv5 1070er
OS: Vista Ultimate x64 SP1

I wish to install the second operating system on my laptop: FreeBSD 7.1
To install through VMware 6.5 on a physical disk.
my SATA disk, 320Gb, 3 partition:
1) Vista (NTFS, primary partition)
2) RAW (FreeBSD in the future)
3) Music,Video ant etc. (NTFS, primary partition)

I create the virtual machine and as soon as I start there is an error:

OPERATION ON FILE "\\PHYSICALDRIVE0"FAILED.
IF THE FILE RESIDES ON A REMOTE FILE SYSTEM, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR NETWORK CONNECTION AND THE SERVER WHERE THIS DISK RESIDE ARE FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. IF THE FILE RESIDES ON REMOVABLE MEDIA. REATTACH THE MEDIA.
CHOOSE RETRY TO ATTEMPT THE OPERATION AGAIN.
CHOOSE ABORT TO TERMINATE THIS SESSION.
CHOOSE CONTINUE TO FORWARD THE ERROR TO THE GUEST OPERATING SYSTEM.

In what a problem?
Does Vista not allow usage of physical disks in VMware if you want to install the OS on physical disk?

Note: While installing the guest operating system on a physical disk, if your virtual machine does not boot from the CD-ROM, try changing the boot order in the virtual machine's BIOS. Restart the virtual machine, then press F2 while the virtual machine is booting to enter the BIOS. Change the boot order there.
