| Vista Home Premium | RocketDock - how to view running apps? Hi I have started using Rocket Dock recently. I really love it but I have a problem! It shows applications on its dock only when they are minimized! How can I see list of all running apps [not just minimized ones] like in Windows task bar? ![]() Thanx |

| Windows 7 RC x64 Vista HP x86 | Re: RocketDock - how to view running apps? Hi movilogo, Have another look at the options ![]() Have not used rocketdock for a while but I'm sure there is an option to minimize to the dock If not Rocket dock it may be ObjectDock that gives this functionality This is straight from the online manual 6. Minimized Windows If you have enabled "Minimize Windows to the Dock" in General Settings, your minimized windows will show up as icons on your dock. These window icons can be dragged around for rearranging, but cannot be deleted or closed by dragging off the dock. In Windows Vista, they will be rendered as a real-time preview if you have Desktop Composition enabled in your Windows performance settings and the ability to use Aero Glass. You can open or close a window by right-clicking on the window icon and selecting "Open Window" or "Close Window." By default the window will be opened if you simply click on it. ![]() Oops just re-read what you're after - hae a look at the available add-ons for object dock hey have one to replace the start menu completely - It may work with Rocket Dock or maybe you may want to check out object dock |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: RocketDock - how to view running apps? Hello Movilogo, and welcome to Vista Forums. In the Rocket Dock settings, under the General icon, you can check the Running Application Indicators to get a triangle over the icon in Rocket Dock for the apps that are currently running. Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista Home Premium | Re: RocketDock - how to view running apps? Hi guys, yes I'm aware of running app indicator and minimize app to dock. However, when I'm running an app in normal mode [not minimized] and it was not started from Rocket Dock, there is no way to know the app is running unless Windows task bar is visible! Rocket Dock should have the option of displaying all applications in dock, not just the minimized one. |
