Registry cleaner/scrubber...gimmick software that promises Windows Corruption in "Just one Click", and the Joys of lost data, and hours spent re-installing Windows-

It is a disk cleaner - the free version is already listed in the great free software link on this very site.

However, they do a registry cleaner as a separate program, for those who like that sort of thing. Caution is always advised with reg. cleaners., as Rive0108 points out.

A disk cleaner? I prefer to use CCleaner.

Ill check it out. Does it include utilities that I cant already find in Vista?

Not sure yet what the Pro version is like, but the free one finds more than Disk cleanup, for example.

The Pro may be more aggressive - requiring a little attention from the user - too early to say.

Rising - most of us who have been using Wise Disk Cleaner Free also use Ccleaner - they seem to find different things.

I also use Glaryutilities. Mainly for the Disk space explorer - tho. the Undelete is pretty good , and the context menu handler is quick and simple to use. Some of us got the Pro. version of Glary, when it was on offer recently - I had been using the free version previously.

We can only try it and see.
