| Vista Home Premium | Access Violation using AsTute I have downloaded a program from my uni for study purposes and am having trouble with one section...it is zipped at first so all files have to be extracted...that seems to work ok and the program appears to run...I can do tutorial exercises etc but there is an option to view your progress and this is where I get access violation at address 00439745. Read of address 0144FB78....these numbers are different every time I try to view progress....... any one have an idea what the issue is?... |

| Win7x64 | Re: Access Violation using AsTute The most likely explanation, statistically, is a bug in the app. It's trying to work with memory which is invalid, most likely because of some sort of internal breakdown in its logic. I'd suggest looking for an updated version and asking others who use the same app whether they see the same symptom in the same place in the app. If so, almost beyond doubt it's a bug and only the app developer can fix it - in the form of an updated version. |
