Vista - Need to record stream to MP3 remember M.E.S.S.E.R

I use a program called messer on my XP machine. works excellent for 6 yrs.
It allows me to record any streaming sound, mic input, line input,etc. ( I converted cass tapes and Vinyl Records)
I have created many MP3's from 10seconds to 8hrs.
I tried to use it on my vista laptop and it just won't work.
I have tried many recorders to MP3 but my built in mic picks up any sound in the room.

The folowing site allows you to listen to full songs AND/OR FULL ALBUMS of almost any artist available. If not there ( like good rats) it tells you it may be there soon...

I have tried all the free apps and they all record from the mic on my laptop.

I have been using my XP rig to record any streams I want.

Hello Pacinitaly,

Go to the System Configuration > Startup and uncheck Chicony traybar. The build-in mic will be off until you will turn the camera on manually. Maybe this will help.
