'DVD Shrink' it is free download despite the many places that want money.
I think the last free download site where i got it was Free Downloads Encyclopedia - Softpedia although I haven't put it on vista x64 ultimate yet, only xp pro

Thanks for your reply..is it necessary to join the club in order to get the download. It appears to me that you need to sign up for 1,2, or 3 years and have to pay $40.98 to get the download. I am not computer savvy and I am afraid that I won't be able to understand the directions of how to operate the download, unless it is very detailed in the instructions. All I want to do is copy an existing DVR that contains pictures from a camcorder.

I totally recommend DVDFab. It comes with a 30 day trial period, but after that you'll decide to get it - it's pretty cool.

The link simonc555 posted is easier. After you go there, click on the link with the arrow in the upper right to download.
If dvdshrink don't work for ya then dvdfab is good but it costs.

there is a free version of dvd fab hd available however you will have to hunt for it.
It is the same as the trial but when the trial time runs out it only stops some of the available options so is still usable.

I got to a certain point with the DVD Shrink and my computer froze, I think I have a virus. After I get that taken care of, I will try again.
