| Vista Home Premium SP2 32bit, Windows7x32bit | Re: Using iespell Thanks Shawn, I have already installed "ieSpell" but it doesn't have the facility to indicate the wrong spelling with a red underline as I could get with FF. I thought that there may be a different setting in "ieSpell" to achieve spell checking as you type. |

Pretty sure it will work with IE8 final as it worked OK with the beta and RC. Do you just install it over IE8? I have IE8, and ieSpell, used to Highlight the words I was spell checking, it now does not do this, maybe because I changed some security setting? Not sure, what If I want to go back to IE7 or IE7pro? How do I go about that?? At any rate it does Highlight the words here at this Forum, but at another forum I hang out at it stipped doing this, don't know why? But I do know it makes it hard to spell check when, the word is NOT highlighted. Then IE8 opens, or seems to, another link to do the Spell Check with ieSpell, confused. Is all. Is there a work around? That you know of, also changing Browsers, more info on that would be cool, I know how to install them, no Rocket Science there. Just going back to a previous one, I'm a tad lost?? Blue |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Using iespell I would uninstall IESpell just to remove the possibility of any compatibility issues between the two, first and then just install IE7Pro (last I heard they are working on a fully IE8 compatible version). As far as removing IE7Pro or IE8, both can be removed through Programs and Features. Faily all of that you could always just go with Firefox which has a spell check built in. |

LOL!! Add remove, for some reason I thought it would not be listed in there, I'll go look, one moment...nope not in there (Programs and Features.) No IE7, No IE8 nothing. That's why I was asking, LOL!! I guess if I downloaded IE7 Pro, that would overwrite it. Or are Browsers considered ADD-ONS?? Maybe that's it? I'll check that out as well. Please reply ![]() I had everything the way I liked it, then freaked out about Conficker C, so I upped all my Shields, this is where I stared getting issues with ieSpell etc, I turned on UAC, in Vista 64 Bit HP, that I run. Should have just left it alone, now I have all those lame Pop-Ups from MS UAC in Vista. Any suggestions on that, I know this topic has been beat to death "UAC", sorry about that!! ![]() Maybe I just try and get used to FIREFOX, I just have NEVER liked it, is all. ![]() Blue |
