hw to set .doc default program

hi,

i have problem in opening the .doc file with ms office, its not working with 2 posted methods, could any one can give a solution to fix problem in setting default program.

Naveen, you can use Office's Add / Remove Programs entry to perform an Office 'repair' - have you tried that?

I have tried that....went to Add/Remove programs and there is NOT an Office Repair............only Uninstall. I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. HP Compaq SR5123WM
