Boostspeed makes you buy it after a week or so.

I also like CCleaner & I use it in conjunction with a few other programs: jkdefrag, eusing free registry cleaner, auslogics disc defrag...

So you want to fix computer then run some more cleaners? Ok then, try Comodos System Cleaner Comodo System Cleaner - Registry Cleaner Competitors Comparison Chart Will make CCleaner look silly :)

What good it does Im not sure of though.

Im having a hard time looking at Auslogics page Speed Up Your Slow Computer with Auslogics Boost Speed like everything is falling a part, lol. All those useless features, most of which are already available in Windows, false claims of boosting internet speed, stability etc. Payware even! And of course Zdnet love it, Cnet must be jumping up and down as well.

Hi Alex,

You asked about payware (well, shareware) to Defragment, Clean junk files, Clean Registry, among many other things.

Auslogics also do a free defragger, which seems popular and is listed in the Great free software section on this very site.

You might also like to try a command version of Windows own Disk Cleanup utility.

Rt click the Desktop, select New, Shortcut then copy and paste in the following:

%SystemRoot%\System32\Cmd.exe /c Cleanmgr /sageset:35 & Cleanmgr /sagerun:35

Tick the items you wish to remove - do not remove the "Setup Logs".

Hope it helps
