Xbox and Vista

I have just installed a new dell studio running Vista home premium. I had my XBOX 360 operating as an extender before with XP media center but now it is telling me I have missing or corrupt files when I look for video. Also the media center software asks me for a set up key but I cannot get one from the extender>

Any help would be appreciated

I am afraid I cannot help you with your media center software.

If you use your Xbox 360 for multimedia playback however I could suggest another
option (if all else fails).

Take a look here:
XBMC for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux

It's open-source media center software especially (originally) developed for the (original) Xbox.
I'm not sure if it supports Xbox 360 or if it has all the functionality you require of it but it might be worth to at least take a look there seeing as you are an Xbox 360 owner
