DESKTOP ICON TOY 3.3 - Having Some Problems

Today’s Giveaway of the Day – the Desktop Icon Toy 3.3 looks GREAT, and is exactly what I wanted – so I downloaded it, but many of the listed features don’t seem to work, and their website has no tech support or forum to access help. I wonder if my download was corrupted, or if I did something wrong. For example, I’m trying to hide the icons when my cursor is off the Desktop, but instead, when I select that option, the icons stay hidden, no matter where my cursor is. Or, trying to change icon colors but that option has no effect. Has anyone tried the program? The description is below:

"DESKTOP ICON TOY - Are you tired of a boring desktop? Would you like to give it more pizazz, and brighten you day? Desktop Icon Toy is an easy to use desktop icon enhancement tool, which allows you to make many funny but useful patterns out of your windows desktop icons. You can change and restore their layout with just a couple of quick mouse clicks."

Features:
• Arrange Desktop Icons
• Save Desktop Icon Position
• Animate Desktop Icons
• Remove Desktop Icon Texts
• Show/Hide Desktop Icons on Demand
• Lock Desktop Icons
• Change Desktop Icon Size
• Place Desktop Notes
• Change Desktop Icon Text Color
