| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Is Vista still compatible with Firefox 3.0.8 Not if you follow the instructions in the link I posted as it has you remove,
P.S. Also a good idea to make a backup of this folder every now and then. That way if you ever re-install Windows, get Firefox installed, put that folder where it belongs, Firefox will open with all your Bookmarks and extensions. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Is Vista still compatible with Firefox 3.0.8 Have you tried Firefox in Safe Mode (shortcut for it is in the Start menu folder) to see if it might be caused by an extension? Firefox in Safe Mode uses your profile minus any extensions/themes/etc you have installed. Deleting that folder will delete your current (as well as any other) profile, so will yes basically start fresh. You can also create a new profile, Managing profiles to see if it is something in your profile's settings/etc. This will give you a new prfile with no extensions and the Firefox options will be at their defaults. Also any cookie manager type extensions installed? If so that could be what is causing the problem. |

| Vista home premium 32bit | Re: Is Vista still compatible with Firefox 3.0.8 Hello everybody, Thank you for your quick reply, I did remove Mozilla in Registry, and restart and install again, that problem still there, but I forgot about Application folder, I will try and let you know, by the way I have just install Opera, it runs smooth. I did go to application and remove, and install, but impossible, the error showed up about something wrong with my application, they ask me to fix it first, I thought i did some thing wrong when I tried to export some directory to my folder. But if i did wrong, how could I just intall Opera and it still run smooth? And I also have Acoo Browser, Avant browser, IE 7, no problem, just only Firefox. Thanks again, You have a nice weekend!
