| 32 and 64 | Java Option Missing in Advanced Options Hello all, My childs system is missing the Java option in the Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the JRE environment but still, nothing. I completely removed the Java folders and such before I reinstalled too to no avail. I have run several online virus programs (clean) as well as Spybot S&D, Malwarebytes, and Windows Defender and they all come out clean. I think this is a configuration issue rather than malware. Has anyone else expierienced this and know a cure? System Config: --------------- Vista Home Ultimate (32 bit) IE8 Parental Controls On After reinstalling I ran the Java "Test" on the Java site and here are the results: load: class testvmDynamicJavaComPopUp819.class not found. java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: testvmDynamicJavaComPopUp819.class at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadCode(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager$AppletExecutionRunnable.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Caused by: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at java.io.BufferedInputStream.fill(Unknown Source) at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read1(Unknown Source) at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.http.HttpClient.parseHTTPHeader(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.http.HttpClient.parseHTTP(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.http.HttpClient.parseHTTP(Unknown Source) at sun.net.http://www.protocol.http.HttpURLConn...Stream(Unknown Source) at java.net.HttpURLConnection.getResponseCode(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.getBytes(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.access$000(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) ... 7 more Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: testvmDynamicJavaComPopUp819.class Last edited by RCShadow; 04-27-2009 at 04:50 PM.. |
