| Vista Ultimate x64 | Rpc fails with norton ghost 14 & vista x64 HI all: Someone PLEASE help with this issue; I am using an Alienware M17 with Vista Ultimate X64 and Norton Ghost 14.0; with small (<300GB) drive backups it has worked to backup internals to externals fine but on my secondary internals (>400GB), when trying to backup to a Western Digital "Mybook" (1TB) external drive, I keep getting the "RPC failed" or can't connect to RPC error message so the backup fails; can anyone help ? The RPC service is started in services.msc so I don't know what the problem is. MY email is : pgerardjohnson@bellsouth.net I'll make it worth your while to help me. Paul |
