Hello FLE,

If you're not in any hurry or need the Ultimate edition, then you might as well wait for Windows 7. It is scheduled to be released sometime in January 2010, but rumor is that MS is pushing for before Christmas.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

If you've never used a 64bit OS before, then I'd suggest going ahead and getting Vista x64. That way, when Win7 rolls out, (past the beta, I mean), you'll be ahead of the curve and know a little more what to expect, what works with it and what doesn't.

I mean, no sense blaming Windows 7 for stuff that doesn't work with it if you knew it didn't work with Vista beforehand, ya know? :geek:
