I have a new HP box with vista x64, it came with a trial office 2007. I installed office 2003 with out any errors noted. Outlook and Excel seem to work ok however Word will hangup after two letters are typed, and then gives a NOT RESPONDING message. I uninstalled the office 2007, and using office 2003 uninstalled and reinstalled word 2003. The problem remains ,two letters and it quits. What do you think?

I was having another problem at the same time , with my printer. The Vista box couuld see the printer that is usb connected to my desktop computer on my wlan but woud not access it. Any attempt to print would hang that applicaton. From another thread on this fourm I followed the advice to add a new printer to the vista box and use the \\desktop name\printer name for the port assignment. It worked and the wod 2003 app is now also up and running. Isn't vista x64 fun.
Thanks for your thought.
