My speed has been fine, but sometimes it will just freeze up. Im VERY safe on the net and my virus scans come clean. I installed it through windowes update. What should I do.

One of the reasons I changed to FireFox was due to that, but with IE 6 & 7... I was never abled to figured it out, it happened everytime after about 2 to 5 minutes of browsing. Restarting the PC took care of the problem but after 5 mins or so... problem came back again.

Up to this date I wonder about and hope someone has a solution to it. Although, I am getting the hang of FF by now!

Have you tried going through the "IE reset" tutorial here to see what happens when the browser config is cleaned up and non-default add-ons are deactivated?
