IE8 bad idea!

I uninstalled trend micro internet security pro then installed zone alarm security suite. Then installed IE8. for vista everything went crazy on my computer. I could not find the uninstall for IE8 so I did a system restore, this solved my problem with the uninstall but it also wiped out my zone alarm install. So I reinstalled zone alarm, I then got a error message that said Zone alarm found another antivirus program that can't run with zonealarm so I went back to uninstall trend micro again and it keeps going half way through the uninstall then it stops and does a roll back. How do I uninstall this program?

IE8 would be listed under Windows Updates. Uninstall the IE8 update and your previous version of IE should replace it.

If possible try reinstalling micro and then uninstall it and see if you get the same problem.
