Hi all had a look through all the posts here and it cant seem to find an answer. I have Vista Ultimate x64 and had my mce remote working just fine as usual vista did auto update before i could disable it(new install) and now I've lost most the functionality of the remote and mce keyboard, power buton/green mce buton and cursor keys work but volume chanels and back button dont. really getting stressed about it now tried shorting the remote nad did not work uninstalled the drivers removed ir reciever and rebooted reloaded drivers which date 2006 by the way and still the same. my wife is getting very angry as she uses it every day and all day at the moment as she's at home alot at the moment. and so i get it in the neck when i get in through the door already spent 6 nights getting the system stable (alot of BSOD and system hangs SATA 2 driver issues) and cant afford much more time on this problem before i will need to resort to mce 2005. Please help as i love media browser and it does all we wont seems that its the rest of the system now that is letting it down. any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.:)

****RESOLVED**** It seemed that my standard usb keyboard (used it to get into the bios) driver had caused a conflict with the ehome one. I went in to device manager using a usb mouse and went through uninstalling all usb devices 1 at a time till all i was left with was the mouse uninstalled generic mouse driver and vista trigered new hardware and reloaded the ehome driver but not the usb generic keyboard one and hey presto it works again and my mce keyboards like it should to.
So if you have function buttons that dont work like back skip etc and just reinstalling the ehome driver does not work then remove any usb devices you have connected apart from the mce reciever and it should reinstall it and fix the issue.:)

Hope this helps others out there!!!!

maybe not resolved! randomly i get a constant red light on the receiver and the mce keyboard or remote fails to work I then need to uninstall all other drivers let it reload the ehome drivers and for some reason i then have to wait maybe 5 min after the system has told me that the device is installed before it will work again All of this happens when coming out of sleep state. any help in this matter is much appreciated.
