    Lost Firefox favorites links

    I'm using Mozella Firefox on Vista. 90% of my favorites do not load and I cannot delete them either.
    Have I lost them permanently or can they be restored somehow? If lost forever, how do I delete from the list?
    I'd appreciate any and all help.

    in firefox you can go under "Bookmarks" and click on "Organize Bookmarks" and you should be able to delete them, check the link location, change the link location.

    Thanks to all of you for your suggestions!!!!!
    I ended up getting someone that knew more than I about computers. Not sure what all he did, but did copy my bookmarks from the last restore and from IE. I had to go through and do a lot of naming of the bookmarks but only lost a few, so I'm a very happy camper.
