DRM Error (windows media player 11 vista)

I am about ready to pull what little hair i have left out of my head. I have been searching the internet for the past 3 hours trying to find a fix for my issue with absolutely no luck.

I have vista ultimate 32bit. Also I am completely up to date with my vista and my windows media software

I have several blue rays that came with a digital copy and when I try to load the digital copy it tells me that I need to update my DRM file (the error I get is " Warning- there is a problem with your DRM settings"). When I click the link to update my DRM I am unable to click the update link because it is grayed out (this is the link that the digital copy gives me to update from http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp). My guess is that this update is for windows media player 10 and that’s why i can not download it. I was going to try and uninstall media player but i found that was impossible. I’m at a loss as to where to go from here due to the lack of me being able to find posts on this subject. Also a search of the windows website proved useless. Aside from doing a clean install of windows vista does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

As a side note I dont know if this may have anything to do with it but I did update from windows XP rather then a fresh install. I dont know if that makes any difference or not.
