installation error - photoshop CS4 on windows vista 64 bit

Hi guys
after installing the trial version of Photoshop CS4 on my vista -64 bit , I've received this error message on starting photoshop CS4

I've tried re-installing ...but it didn't help

please tell me what to do

You may have tried this already, in which case I apologize for assuming, but here's what I got from Adobe:

Run the CS4 Clean Script

Also after you run the clean script, delete the database located at

c:\programs (x86)\common\adobe\caps\caps.db

If a directory/the file doesn't exist disregard. After this you *should* be able to reinstall CS4 without issue.

I was having the same problem installing CS4 on Windows Vista 64, until I tried this fix. It works - many, many thanks for the advice.
