Re: How can i upload my photos to Vista

Windows Photo Gallery will do it.
Or the newer Windows Live Photo Gallery.

Re: transfer photos from camera Vista!!!

Have a look here.

All Programs\Windows Photo Gallery

That will do it.

Re: transfer photos from camera Vista!!!

You have additional options. The easiest is to take the card out of the camera and stick it into the computer. If you want to read directly from the camera, use PAINT, go to File > Read from Camera or Scanner. You find the PAINT program in All Programs > Accessories.

Re: transfer photos from camera Vista!!!

I am having the same problem and I am ready to scream!!!!
I bought a new Camera a fuji and Vista will not download pictures, it won;t even show up on the computer. I have uninstalled andinstalled the fuji software and updates for it 6 times!!
I thought okay I will just pull out the memory card and download pictures direct to the computer, well now it won't recognize that.
The first few times I installed the fuji software it would work the first time I hooked up camera but the minute I unhooked it and took more pictures then went to hook it up again back to no recognition.
I also know that it is not the camera or usb cord as when I plug this into my laptop with Window Xp both start up with camera hooked up via usb cord or if memory card.
If anyone has the answers please let us know,a camera is pretty uselss if you can't download the pictures.

Re: transfer photos from camera Vista!!!

The suggestion of whs is the elegant solution. I'm no expert but have had digital cameras for some 13 years and very quickly gave up on transfer by cable from the camera because it took too long and had too many inconvenient wires. With the movie cam, the story is different when the recoding medium is tape.
