Please help!!! Roxio (All you drives are set to disabled)

I have used Roxio Creator 9 and MyDVD 9.0 DE for a while, until I reinstalled my OS. Now I get the following error message:

"All your drives are set to disabled. On this operating system, in order to start Roxio Creator DE you must either physically remove your drive(s) or enable at least one drive."

Please help! I want to stick with Roxio, and I don't want to pay for anything.

Re: Please help!!! Roxio (All you drives are set to disabled)

Computer Age:

You haven't mentioned whether your drives do work with applications other than Roxio.

Anyway, try this:

Start > Control Panel > Device Manager >

See if there are any notifiers, like yellow triangles, by your drive listings.
If so, right-clicking your drive listing will bring up a menu of options to work with.

Computer Age:

If the Roxio came bundled with your HP see if this applies:

Start > All programs > PC Help&Tools > Recovery Manager > Advanced Options >
Software program Re-installation

Re-install the Roxio.

No, it actually came with my father's laptop, but it was an official disc. Before it worked, but I reinstalled the OS, and now it doesn't.
