Where is the Folder?

Hi,
Could someone tell me where the folder is that downloaded files like songs/ebooks etc. are actually stored? I have looked in C:>Computer>Program Files>Windows Media Player, but none of these folders have the actual file. Where do they hide them?
Thanks,
Jakeman97

Jakeman97:

If they aren't in the <Username> Music, Documents, Downloads folder or in a folder inside Documents then try Everthing search utility

Everything Search Engine

If you know the name of the file, enter that.

Worst case, download, enter an asterisk followed by the downloads file extension, ( mp3,pdf,etc )
and click the top of the date column until most recent are at top.

If you find it, right-click it in the Name column, and click Open Path.
