| Vista Home Premium SP2 32bit, Windows7x32bit | Re: Adobe reader does not work in IE No, I use Adobe Reader with no issues. You will be fine with Foxit but if you really want Adobe, you can remove it completely and re-install and see. I don't find much difference between them. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Adobe reader does not work in IE I did delete the older version after I got this message. It did not seem to make any difference. Normally for upgrades I do not have to delete older versions. ??? |

| Vista Ultimate 64-bit, SP2 | Re: Adobe reader does not work in IE With the current version, Reader 9.1, you update via Reader - Help - check for updates. Just a thought did you install the Google tool bar when you installed Reader? [This may cause glitches.] |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Hi, JMH Yes I did install Google tool bar. I now have only the foxit toolbar. It doesn`t seem to have made a difference, although now I know I really do have " a more functional product installed" ie Foxit . Maybe now that is what Adobe detects?? Unless I have difficulties with Foxit I`m comfortable using this reader, so thanks to everyone who took the trouble to read my post and think of a possible solution. |
