| Vista home premium 32bit | Re: What's a Patch...? It is more than info data. In a development shop, it is actually a fix that could not yet be rolled up into a formal release (like e.g. an SPx). In that sense, all the KBs we get for Windows are patches. |

| Vista home premium 64 bit | They are often also small updates. Not designed to fix something but make it better be it the interface or mayby a graphical interface setting. They are also used when a new periferal comes to the shops to allow for the added functions. |
