| Vista Home Basic 32bit | uninstall internet explorer how to uninstall Internet Explorer in Vista? Im using other browser and i want to get rid of this unused browser..but i cannot uninstall it the regular way like other software.. anyone? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: uninstall internet explorer Internet Explorer 7 is a part of the Vista operating system itself, so it cannot be uninstalled. If you do not use it, then it will not use any resources other than the very small amount of hard drive space the files take up. If you set your 3rd party web browser (ex: Firefox) as the default program, then you can just ignore Internet Explorer and let is sit unused. Sorry, ![]() Shawn |
