| Vista Ultimate SP2/Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Unwanted Nvidia Entry In Control Panel I stupidly tried installing the NV Sys Tools from nVidia's website as shown in the pic below as I meet the system requirments. It didn't work so uninstalled but an annoying shortcut leading nowhere is still installed in my Control Panel Classic View (see pic #2) and I have tried getting rid of it using a combination of System Restore & regedit to no avail. Any ideas? Last edited by Ex_Brit; 09-06-2009 at 10:02 AM.. |

| Vista Ultimate SP2/Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Unwanted Nvidia Entry In Control Panel OK guys, I hid it as per the Tutorial on how to hide Control Panel items. Strange that I cannot find it in the registry by any combination of names. Last edited by Ex_Brit; 09-06-2009 at 12:11 PM.. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit. | Re: Unwanted Nvidia Entry In Control Panel G'Day Ex_Brit ! As per me , I've seen such extra tools and Organized custom icons provided unnessecarily by Nvidia Types , Like Nvidia Sync and Nvidia PhyX etc as these are harmless and offer-able for a person provided by The respective Service Providers :-| Hope you are satisfied by the way things are =] |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Unwanted Nvidia Entry In Control Panel Hi Peter, I'm sure that you have already looked here to see if it was listed, but it may be worth a shot. Programs and Features - Remove Uninstall Entry I use to use System Tool for monitoring my temps until it just stopped working one day. It didn't leave that behind for me though luckily. I use Core Temp now. |
