I just bought a SSD drive and people are telling me that its better to run IDE over AHCI but now im having issues getting it to start with out AHCI if any one has some guides or suggestions to make a SSD faster please let me know

Alot of our tips are dependant on what hardware you have could you fill in the system specs (lower left corner) so we know what you do have.
