| Vista 32 win 7 7600 32 bit | Re: Vista and linux advice Lots of ppl dual boot Vista and a linux distro. My personal prefernce is ubuntu. If you dont want to dual boot ubuntu portable will run in a vista window almost like any other application. Let me know which way you want to go Ken |

| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: Vista and linux advice Ubuntu is really great. It's probably a bit more user-friendly than some of the other linux distributions too. If you want to try it out, I'd suggest installing it via Wubi: Wubi - Ubuntu Installer for Windows That way, it's easy to take off if you find you don't like it. If you do like it, then I'd recommend installing Ubuntu normally from a CD on a separate partition. Good luck. |
