| Windows Seven Home Premium | Re: Visual C++ 2008 question Hi Brew City Bart, If you type System Information into the search box on your start menu and select it. Your answer will be next to System Type. There are also updates released for Visual C++2008 but you will have to enable updates from Microsoft from within your Windows Updater. Hope this is of help |

| Win7x64 | Re: Visual C++ 2008 question To put it another way, you don't need a 64-bit IDE just because you may wish to generate 64-bit binaries; the 32-bit VS can emit 64-bit code. |

| Vista home premium 64 bit | Re: Visual C++ 2008 question Mitchell: Thanks for the prompt response. I was told by the Sony phone tech. service (this is the manufacturer of the camcorder) that even though it is a 64 bit system, I may still need to download the x86 version. Is this accurate? I have had a problem in the past with my system crashing due to non compatible software and don't want my system to crash for a third time. Thanks, Brew City Bart |
