| Vista 32bit | Recover windows.old files I am new to this forum, so I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section. About two months ago I did a system restore. After the restore I stupidly deleted the files out of the windows.old folder. Is there any way to get those files back without buying high-priced software? I am thinking most likely no, but it couldn't hurt to ask. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Recover windows.old files Hello Sikarious, and welcome to Vista Forums. I believe it will be gone for good once you deleted the Windows.old folder, but you might see if ShadowExplorer may be able to restore it from within the C:\Windows folder. Hope this helps, Shawn |
