NovaBACKUP and Vista 64

I am seeking a solution to my NovaStor Professional software having ceased to run and back up my files. The software seemed to work normally after installation on my HP Pavilion Elite computer several months ago, but then about three months ago it ceased to work. Re-installation has not resolved the problem, and the steps the NovaStor tech has advised have either not provided the information needed to pinpoint the problem or not resolved the problem. My other programs that back up to the same external hard drive are working normally, and I am not experiencing any problem with the drive except for the NovaStor failure. There is plenty of space on the drive. The program accepts settings, but then fails to execute. I have had Norton Internet Security and Spyware Doctor installed all along. Thanks for suggestions about the source of the problem and a resolution.
