See if its still in msconfig and trying to startup auto on boot.

start search > type msconfig > hit enter > accept the UAC prompt > go to the Startup tab at the top > look for anything 'TuneUp' untick it then restart. See if that stops the error message.

Ok my comp froze in the insttalation in tune up utilities and now all my restore points are deleted because i restarted my comp by pressing the button on the cpu and somehow iobit security that i installed A VERYLONGTIME AGO and unstalled it is back.

it dosent show up in Windows unstaller.
when i try revo unstaller it says no installation package found

or i think it is because i was installing it yesterday and my av found a trojan and i quickly pressed cancel is that why?

Re: Help please! Iobit 360 Security!

Please put your system specs in the lower left-hand corner of the frame.
Install mawarebytes and run a full scan. Repeat this again in safe mode.
What virus scanner are you running? What is the specific name of the virus you discovered? Update your virus .dat file and run a thorough scan again.

Where were you installing tune up utilities FROM?

Re: Help please! Iobit 360 Security!

Isn't malawarebytes 32 bit only like a-squared free ? I know the both have a good rep but i'm not sure on 64 bit OS. I had Superantispyware find some trojan the other day which you guys all recommended.

Iobit is pretty new for an antivirus suite ? I'm hesitant with new stuff when its that important.I like my Avast free its worked a lot better than Avira which I used for awhile. The scanning mode kinda sux but heh you can't have everything.

What do you think about Comodo ? Its firewall was a little 2 annoying last time I tried it out.

Re: Help please! Iobit 360 Security!

I think a few people on this site were down on Comodo. I dont use it, so am not able to comment from personal experience. Again, on this site, we've been consistent on recommending malwarebytes.
