Vista - MYOB accounting Installation on Vista

Hi

I am Vista business 32bit user.

MYOB ver 9 accounting software runs fine on my ex-window XP computer but not on Vista.

The software installs OK but cannot access data files, new files or those that came on the install CD for learning purposes.
Installed to all defaults

When I try to open a data file nothing happens.

Any solution?

What do you mean you cannot access data?

as usual, i open the MYOB window and click on the OPEN data file, but nothing comes out. Then i go back to the software installation CD, click on the dics folders, there are data files but no way for me to install.

Or upgdaed the software.

Yes..I able to access the data file in XP Professional but not on Vista.

Can you update the program?

From their site: Microsoft offers their users a 64bit Vista processor. Although MYOB Premier Accounting is a 32bit program, both 2008 and 2009 will work on the 64bit Vista. We do not, however, take advantage of that processing speed technology.

Upgrading your software might be your best bet.
