Symantec Antivirus Doesn't Want to Install

Keeps saying I don't have Admin rights when this is the first freaking account made on it (also an admin account) and I also edited the relevant registry key about asking for admin rights and set it to zero to fix this problem. Didn't do anything.

Help.

HI Wandering Flame, have you tried right clicking on your installer and selecting "Run as Administrator"

Re: Symantec Antivirus Doesn't Want to Install

This problem got fixed, only to create another (man why does my luck with computers suck ass these days?) since now the AV does not report to Windows Security Alerts in a language it understands, in other words it is reporting to it but in a "format that is no longer supported" goddamit.

Anyway I thought a simple symantec virus was downloadable but no, to fix this problem i need to go to a link of their's and provide a SERIAL number. Sucks for anyone who had this installed by someone else who purchased the program or (me) got it from someone who purchased the program (university).
